Default 4.1.0.377 upgrade-SMS issues

Please Login to Remove!

I just upgraded to the 4.1.0.377 device OS. I wanted the Zen theme after seeing it on the 8800.

After upgrading, my SMS are not showing in my general "messages" application. I have to go to the folder for SMS Inbox or SMS Outbox to view SMS' that I've sent or received.

Before I upgraded the OS, I was able to view all my messages (text, PIN, and emails) in the main inbox at once...but now the SMS's are being put into their own folders.

Is there a fix for this? I've been looking at all the settings, and I can't seem to find anything to resolve this.

Thanks!

As far as I know there's no fix if you want to stick to the Zen theme. While using that theme it automatically separate the SMS and MMS to a separate folder and icon than the regular Pin and Email messages. Be if you do want to try a different theme such as dimension-icon theme, it'll all go back to one folder and icon. hope that helps

There should be a sepasrate SMS/MMS Icon on your applications list.

Nope -- it's a feature.

OK...I found the SMS icon...I added that to my home screen. Not a big deal really...just was curious. Actually, now that I figured it out, I sort of like the SMS in a different folder as my emails are all work, and my SMS are all personal, so I can "organize" my thoughts a little easier this way.

Thanks!
