SD Card Compatibility Question

Will the 8800 work with high capacity SD cards like the 8gb Samsung card?

I think this will determine for me whether I buy... thanks for your help!

The 8100/8800 use microSD cards. Is the 8gb card microSD???

Yup, but it's SDHC (SD High Capacity) Standard. Not sure whether the 8800 would be compatible.

Here's an example:

Would be too bad if it's not. These things are available, and cheap -- as little as $65 on EBAY.

That is not a microSD card.

Sandisk is going to produce a 4GB MicroSD card very soon though.

To repeat - danman - that card will not fit in the BlackBerry. It is an SD Card - not a microSD card.

It will not work.

According to the 8800 marketing material, the max size is 2GB.
