Angry java.lang.Illegalstateexception Error (Browser Icons do not work)

Please Login to Remove!

Blackberry Model 8703e
O/S: 4.1.0.352

For some reason this randomly started happening. I receive the following error.

Uncaught exception:
java.lang.IllegalStateException

The first time I got it I wiped the device then reloaded everything and had it sync to the BES server. Everything loaded back up and it worked fine for about a day then all of a sudden I rebooted the device and got the error again I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser application and java, then I reinstalled both but it stills displays the error. I only see the error when I power off the phone and turn it back on then if I click any of the browser icons nothing happens. This includes (Black Berry Browser, Internet Browser, and the Google Browser).

Is there anything I can do other then wiping the device?

This has now occurred on a second blackberry in our organization; the only fix right now that I have used is to re-install the O/S on the blackberry so if anyone comes across anything else please let me know.

I have been getting the same error too when I boot up. It seems to have started after deleting a piece of software that had a dependancy on one of the browser apps. Though it's a pain I'm going to reinstall the latest OS. Did this solve the problem permanently for you?
