Default 7100T Abysmal Battery Life

Please Login to Remove!

Hi!
Has anyone else here experienced horrible battery life even with moderate use with the 7100T.
It has the new firmware on it but it wont last more than a day. By late evening, I have the low battery warning..is this normal..my second phone lasts at least 3 days!
Is there any software/firmware/setting that would prolong this abysmal battery drain?
My old 7290 lasted me for ages and I used to actually plug it in to see if all was well with the battery meter..it just hardly ever came down.
Also, I cannot read the screen in sunlight, as bright and clear as it is indoors.
Thanks
Regards

First 7100 screens are known to be bad in the sunlight.

Second, see what applications are running on the BB, if you keep an active browser page, google maps, etc., running, they can drain battery life. Likewise, if you are in a marginal signal area, the battery will drain faster as it constantly searches and connects to a signal.

Thirdly, you might let it cycle through about 3-4 complete battery drains to 20-30% and recharge to complete 100% a few times and see if that helps recondition your battery.

I never turn mine off and charge it overnight every 3rd day or so.
