I have an 8700 c in which the on/off times are set correct but every time I hit the options menu, it states that the BB will be shut off at a different time about 4.5 hours in the future. Has anyone seen this before. Sorry if this is a repost but I am not going thru 101 pages of topics

You will very likely find that you have some other appointment, task, calendar item set for the time stated. Search those items and I am betting you'll find the culprit.
