I was just wondeirng... does Blackberry changes times for daylight-saving-time?? or do users manual have to change it?

There are a bunch of threads about the Daylight Savings Time (DST) patch that had to be applied to update the BB.

Using your BlackBerry Browser, please go to BlackBerry <-- and download tha patch.

sorry, but i don't understand what you mean by "blackbery browser, please go to blackbery and download the patch"... can you be lil more specific for me?

On the internet browser on your Blackberry, go to the site NJBlackberry advised. Open browser, click goto, type in the web address, click OK, etc. etc.

to spell it out...

um.. just one last question... it says 2007 DST Patch... does that mean i have to download new patch for 2008 next year?

It will work fine unless Congress changes the rules again.

hey guys, I am still having probs on my 8700 (Cingular).

In Options, I have a 2007 DST Patch that was automatically installed from BES showing. I also went to the blackberry.com site above, and downloaded the patch, got the message it was successfully installed.

Yet, when I go to Options | Date/Time and do "Update Time", it reverts back to an hour earlier. This is for when it's set for either Network and Blackberry for Date/Time Source.

Any ideas? My appts are still screwed up. I have verified that my PC is fine, w/ the patch too.

***UPDATE*** I discovered a hard reset solved the problem....
