Layand, does the sync process stop at ant specific point in the address book, on a certain record # ? You can open Desktop Manager and look at the error log to determine. There could be on contact record which has bad data in it (look at first/last names and compant field) and see if you see anything odd.
Try upgrading to 4.2.1 that should get you past the error. It should skip over the errorus records.
