Default Saving Contacts to SIM

Is there a way to save your entire address book over to the SIM, without doing each number individually? Also, is my SIM phone book as important as backing up my numbers on my PC? So if I ever get a new BB or something happens to this one I can just connect it to my laptop and switch the numbers over without even using the SIM book, that sound right?

Sync to Outlook using Desktop Manager OR backup the device using Desktop manager. IMHO, Sync / Backup is more important than the SIM card.... If you swap the SIM from device to a different phone all the time then it might be beneficial to load the addresses on the SIM. If you don't swap the sim between devices then the sync / backup is the BEST option.

...and the SIM phonebook can only contain a phone number and a name per each entry. That's it. No addresses or anything else.

There is a work around, syn you BB to outlook, take the sim out and put it in a motorola razr, syn outlook back to the razr with motorola phone tool, and then using the phone copy from phone to sim.

I also have a sim card reader usb dongle, I can access the sim but still looking for a software to syn with outlook, got it from ebay for a couple bucks.

Is there NO way of copying Name and Telephone to SIM without using another telephone?

Mercedes have at last a Bluetooth adaptor but say it will only read off the SIM.
