Question Deleting emails individually - pick and choose?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.
I have tried to search for this answer, but I am not finding it.

Is there a way to pick and choose the messages you want to delete on a message by message basis? I want to be able to individually select messages like you would using the Ctrl key in Windows. I know how to highlight a block of messages, etc., but it is a real pain to have to hit delete for every single message one by one (I get a LOT in my inbox daily.) I would like to choose individual messages, then just hit delete once to get rid of them.

Thanks!

No (at least I have not learned or heard of a method to do so). I'd love to be proven wrong on this, so I can do it to.

Nope, cant be done. You can however highlight he date line and select Delete Prior. This will only delete messages on the BlackBerry and not sync back to your email client.

I do this quickly by using the del key and then either "M" for mailbox and handheld or "H" for handheld. it goes a little quicker than using the trackwheel for everything.

you can uncheck the 'confirm delete' box and they will simply delete when you press the delete key, no dialog box.

It's pretty quick if you hit delete and enter. Relying on the trackwheel works but in every case it's significantly faster to use the keyboard and shortcuts.
