Is there a way to view/edit the contact list of the phone on the computer?

I synced it with my outlook, and now I have a bazillian contacts that I don't care to have in there... looks like I have to go in a delete them one by one???

Yes, there is a way to view/edit your BB contacts on the desktop, using outlook or another PIM. It appears from the second line of your post that you have figured that out.

Having your contacts on your BB and in your PIM (such as Outlook) is the intended way it operates.
