GMAIL - can't it stay in its own inbox?

Default GMAIL - can't it stay in its own inbox?

I receive my Gmail email on my handheld, but because it is a company handheld I’d like to keep it separate from my company email.

Is it possible for all of Gmail messages to go ONLY into the second icon/folder on the screen, which I set up for my gmail account, and NOT into my MESSAGES folder, which is for work emails?

No, on the 8700, sorry. All messages go the messages folder.

You can use the Gmail apps from Google, I think that would solve the problem.
It can be downloaded at => Gmail

I'm a BB dork but I dont know! Does anyone know if the 8800 will have this dual-email feature that magicsara talks about above?

Gmail has their own stand alone application that allows you to read your emails but it is separate from your regular email. When I went to gmail.com on my browser I was prompted to download the application for my BB..I don't get alerts when I have new mail..but it's still neat because I don't what that mixed in with my work emails.

If you use the Zen theme, it actually keeps all of your accounts completely separate...solving your problem.

All email goes into Messages on all Blackberries. A future OS or theme release might change this but that's currently how things stand.

This is off topic, but I just noticed that when I send an email with my GMAIL account on my computer, to someone totally different, my phone also receives a message, which is bascially just the sent message.

Does this happen to anyone else?

**EDIT - Seems as if there is a sticky for it. My bad**
