Wirelessly posted (8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Email them to yourself, and save. You can then view in the Picture Viewer.

Is there a limitation on size? If so what is it?

I don't know the limit, but it doesn't matter anyway, for two reasons;

-When you download the picture, your BB will automatically downsize the file even if you click on FULL IMAGE (serveral times, lol). You will notice the picture in Picture Viewer will never/rarely be over about 25-45 kb, even if your original file is 1 - 5mb.
-And because you really can't do much with a picture on your 7100 other than view it in Picture Viewer, or make it a background image, there is no need for an extremely hi-res photo. You can't send it to another via e-mail, only by MMS. Once the picture is on your BB7100, there's not much you can do with it, other than enjoy it and let it eat up memory.

Well I don't want that. Thanks for the input.

Honestly, though, I did have about two dozens personal pictures on my 7100, family etc., some pictures of fish I had caught, lol. Just to have and show a friend once in a while. In all total, they ate up less than half a mb of memory. Not much.
