Default Duplicate folders on my 8800 BES

Please Login to Remove!

Help....Here's the problem and when it started.

My BES admin told me today that he had to move me from one server to another. So he directed me to go to my Desktop Manager, entered in the new server name and afterwards all appears to be working well....except, when I went to file my messages to a specific folder, I discovered I have duplicate folders of the same names. BTW, I have lots of folders on my Lotus Notes which it wirelessly syncs to.

Any one know how to resolve this? Need some help here.

I had that happen once to me, as well...Exchange environment. Only way I ever fixed it was to wipe and reload, but not restore a backup.

Your options are to a) live with it, knowing that old messages will be in one folder directory, and that anything new will be placed in the other, or b) lose all that archived mail after you wipe and reload/re-activate.

I just checked my Service Book and it shows that I have two "Desktop [CMIME]" files. Does that have anything to do with it? I never had two before. Would deleting one of them help?

Probably. Never thought to look there.

Tough to tell which one is which, though. Worst case would be to delete both and have your books resent. Or re-ent activativate.
