Wirelessly posted (8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

No, you cannot on the the 8700, the only way to send a picture FROM your 8700 BB is via a MMS message.

got that, i was stating that the only way this would be a problem is if someone sent him a picture from bb messenger. If the the picture came to his bb as an attachment he would be able to email it to another account and get it on his pc. but the unless the pic that he wants to get off his blackberry came as an attachment from an e-mail, it's not possible to do. I think that should be confusing enough!!!!

O RLY??? Through e-mail? Mine doesn't give me an option to attach a picture, either in the e-mail message OR in the pictures menu. I find it really annoying, because it's so easy for them to do but it's locked out no doubt to push the $0.25 charges for MMS. That kind of Verizon-ish crap irritates the hell out of me.

Maybe I should update to whatever software you are running...because I'm pretty sure mine won't let me do it.

Open the pic folder, highlight the pic you want to send and click the wheel, select send MMS, this will take you to the address book, click on the address or on the very top "use once", enter or select an email address and send it. Not sure if it will be charge as an MMS, but it will send to an email address.

It most certainly will charge as MMS message, and I don't believe you can send MMS to a routine email address. Prove me wrong otherwise.

Differant carriers alow you to send pics different ways as such when I had t-mobile I could copy pictures off of my browser and send via MMS. I could copy that same pic and save it to my photos and send it via e-mail. I now have sprint and I can do none of the above. My 8703e doesn't even have an MMS option. You have to connect to sprints picture mail website to even view your photos. It sucks. But if you send a picture via e-mail it is e-mail and sending over your BIS and you do not get charged by your carrier as sent MMS. This goes for pictures, tex and attachments.

Download BBScreen (should find it on this site), run it while connected to your BB, open the picture that you want to send to your PC, take the screenshot via BBScreen and save the picture as a jpeg or whatever you want to save it as. For me and probably by default, the pictures are saved onto your PC's desktop.
