Default Can't receive emails!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi folks,

I downloaded Blackberry messenger and was part way through a short conference with two persons when the messenger failed.

I now cannot receive emails at all. I have two email accounts on the BBerry and it worked perfectly till now. I have tried all that I could find to get it going with no luck. Any thoughts? I would love some help from anyone that has time to point me in the right direction. The blackberry is a tool for me so very important every day.

cheers, Bill

Have you tried doing a hard reset (pull battery out for about 30 seconds)???

Default reset

I was actually doing it as you wrote. That doesn't seem to do it either.

Log into your providers BIS site and re-send the service books...

I assume everything else is working except for email?

Default I'll try that too

Yes, everything else seems normal. After the hard boot, my signal is showing off. I don't know if that is the right term, but in the center at the top, it shows "off" with no signal. I must need to turn it back on to receive I suspect, but don't know how to do that either, so I feel extra slow on this thing. This was not the problem before but is just the way it opens now after the boot up.

I'll try to resend the service books as you describe.

Have you checked under the options (depends on what theme you are using where this is located) to make sure Wireless is turned ON??

Default Doooh!

Thanks so much. I've piddled with the darn thing for three hours, fussed and received so much good help. I finally got our tech service folks from the provider after a long hold. The email service faulted and I am one of thousands...wouldn't you know it. uggghhh!

thanks again to all for your kind help on my little non problem. The world is still good.

Bill
