Default Back Light Stays On

Please Login to Remove!

My back light has decided to stay on. I have went to options/screen and enabled/disabled auto back light and nothing changes. I set it for 10 seconds to turn off and it shuts off and then comes back on. Anybody else having this problem or any suggestions on how to fix it?

This happened to me after an OS upgrade on my 8700c. I would try doing a battery pull/reboot and see if that fixes the issue. Typically, it will.

I tried the battery pull didnt work. I loaded a trial verison of Ascendo Photos went throught the settings and found a screen saver mode that automatically enables it self when you load it. I disabled it and it works fine just a heads up if you load this program.

He posted that he fixed his problem in the post just above yours. It was another app causing it.
