Default Newbie question about dialing.

OK.
So I wonder if there is a work around or alt key that helps with this.

Today I had to call 800.gofedex and had a hell of a time figuring out what number 'f' was on a traditional phone.

Please tell me there is a method for dealing with transcribing letters to numbers from an old school dialer.

yes, hold down the ALT key while dialing the letters. Your BB will dial the correct #.
