I just switched to sprint from t-mobile. When I get a voice mail I have the usual Icon of a cassette displayed on my home screen. But I also have a notification in my messages that says VOICEMAIL. I think having two messsages is a bit arbitrary. I went into options and looked around but cant manage to locate how to turn this function off. Any help?

I don't get those SMS VoiceMail notifications on TMobile, only the home screen icon.

Voicemail notifications by SMS are sent by your carrier's voicemail system. There's nothing to set on your BB -- you need to call your carrier to disable them.
