Greetings to everyone on here. I recently dropped my 7100 on the top corner from pretty high up. now it will not power on. that's no the real problem because i have insurance. the real problem is that i have not updated my contacts in a long time and now have no way of transferring them to my new phone. any ideas on how i can get that info off of the unit with out power, or any thought on how to get it to power on. oh and they where not save to my sim card of course.

I'm no professional but if you can't get it to power up I think your data is gone. Have you tried plugging it into your PC to see if you get any communication?

Not sure how your phone is syncing with your e-mails, BES or BIS, but I am on a BES and just had a similar experience only worse... I lost my phone! Was freaking out all weekend, not because of the lost phone, but because of the 600+ contacts I had in there!
Tuesday morning, new phone came in the mail, hooked it up to our BES and there they were... everything! Future appointments, notes to myself, everything!!! Plus, as a bonus... the phone they sent me was the latest OS! Woo Hoo! Good luck!
