Default Ringtone installation on 8700

Please Login to Remove!

All,

Just joined your forum. It looks very nice and helpful.
I had my BBErry since a year, using a 8700f on Orange France network in Paris.

I try to connect different web sites to DL ringtones. I can play audio files with the BBerry media player and I can not find an option to save an audio file on my device.

I use the Orange World Browser and I can not use the BBerry built in Browser.

Do you have an idea how it could work ?

Thanks for your support.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

When you play the audio file, click the trackwheel to find the SAVE option.

Humm...When it's playing do you see something that looks like a Play, Stop and Pause button/symbol? If you see something that looks like a Pause button scroll to that button/symbol and THEN click the trackwheel and you should see the option to save. If you have anything else hightlight you won't have the option to save.

Thanks for your reply.
I have the media player open with the 3 buttons:
- Play
- Stop
- Pause
When I select the last one and press the trackwheel I cannot see any Save command. I wonder if it is due to my Orange Browser as I cannot use the BBerry Browser.

If someone have an idea, I will much appreciate.
