Question outlook synchronizing with groups

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone.

Very new at this and I could use some advice. I am doing some research on the 8703 before I buy it and need to know this before I will buy.

Right now I have about 8 categories or groups in outlook with about 700 contacts. Will the BB allow me to sync with outlook and keep the contacts in their respective groups?

The different service providers I have spoken to say it can't be done! Can this be true? I am told it is no problem with the treo.

Please help!!

Groups do not sync to the BlackBerry. You would have to recreate the groups manually on the BlackBerry.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

There is no limit (that I know of) that you can create on the BB. Be aware that "groups" on a blackberry is quite different than "groups" in MS Outlook.
