Hey Everyone

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way or a hack that would automatically reconcile on the device rather then doing it manually (maybe set it to reconcile now on the device everyone XX minutes). I don't think that there is anything and I have read through some posts, but most of the inquires that I see are related to the BES and mailbox scans and wasn't able to find anything that dealt with it on the handheld. Let me know your thoughts. I think that for this one, i'm going to be S.O.L.

It will Autoreconcile if you give it time. Reconcile Now is there for people who can't wait for whatever reason. You have those two choices -- there's no "Auto Reconcile Now" (that would be the same thing as Autoreconcile).

Many of our users are experiencing receiving emails that appear opened already, but un-opened on their desktop. Not all emails appear read, just some of them. Also when they delete email from their desktops, some emails dont delete on the BB, even after an hour, until they hit the 'reconcile now' option. After reconciling manually, all is good until more mail trickles in and the same thing happens. I don't know for sure, but that may be the reason Cookes713 needs auto 'reconcile now'. Is there a way to adjust the built-in reconcile time, or tell it what to reconcile? Apparently the internal auto reconcile is not doing the same thing as the manual reconcile now function.
At least not with us. We use Lotus Notes with a BES server.

Deletion will not take place in auto reconcile unless you have it setup in HH to delete on both HH and Outlook. For the rest of reconciliation issue, reconcile is low on BES priority and if it is busy it might take longer time then excpected.
It is by design like that.

Maybe this is obvious, but if the user deletes the message from the "deleted items" folder before the handheld has a chance to reconcile with the server, the message will not delete from the handheld.

Well this is in the morning, they check the messages that have come in the previous evening and night, and half of them are read. Then the user goes to their workstation and logs on, and all the messages are un-read. The client then has to 'reconcile now' on the handheld and only then everything is synched. We have one BES server to serve all of our divisions. The other divisions with other Domino servers don't have a problem, just one. I'm not a Domino guy, but I'm told that there really are not a lot of settings in the Domino box, as our BES server is connected to the central Domino server for the whole company.
