Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry 7730, its a bit old and cranky but works. Would I be better to upgrade to the 8800? What new features would it have?

Does it have a voice recorder? I like to record meetings so I can write up the minutes - and if it does do you know how well it works? have you tried it?

Just like the 7730, the 8800 and all other Blackberrys lack a voice recorder. I use a $69 digital voice recorder from Olympus and it records hours of meetings that can then be downloaded to your computer.

BBSmooth, you should go ahead and upgrade to the 8800. It will be worth it.

I really like mine, the only thing I need is thai language support. xxx3626;xxx3623;xxx3633;xxx3626;xxx3604;xxx3637;xxx3588;xxx3619;xxx3633;xxx3610;

Miranda...
Greetings Miranda, and Welcome to the Forum.

I have had a few BB's and purchased an 8800. It's a very nice model with lots of large and small improvements. I'm sure that you would enjoy one. I've had mine for a few weeks now, as I bought it as soon as they were available. I'm 100% satisfied.

Cheers.....

Yeah I agree, but dont forget about built in GPS.
I think the best thing about it is the battery though, I am loving the extended life.
