Default Error 401 - Internet whilst in NZ

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

We currently have one of our customers using a BB 8700 in NZ and able to send/receive emails no problem but is unable to access the internet. We are using a BES and have tried resending the policy and customer has checked password but is still unable to access internet in New Zealand. We have other internet users on BES who are experiencing no problems. Customer is seeing a "Error Message 401 - you are not authorised to view this page"

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Tracy

Tracy, is the user able to run any other data on their BB, i.e., PIN messages, SMS, any other apps that use the network, other than email which is working? Always a good idea to advise the user to pop out the battery for 30 secs and replace to reboot the BB.

Hey tracy

I'm guessing this is waaaay too late.

And this was the case for my 8707v

But get your customer to call vodafone BBerry line on 0800921021

they will point the cust to their site where they will give yr customer a link to dl a new version of the OS for the handset that will let them surf.

Its called the "chinese version" or something unintuitive like that

Good luck
