I saw this while browsing eBay today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...769849828&rd=1

I have a 7100g, and I'm not so sure that it would fit in that holster. Looks like it was designed more for a 7100t with its more pointed bottom than the 7100g. I would be interested to hear if anyone has one of these and their experiences with it. While I'm normally a big fan of holsters, I may not like this one as it (more than likely) will not be able to auto keylock the BB when its placed in the holster, a feature I've grown quite dependent on.

Any type of holster on Ebay for less than $10.00 is almost always JUNK. I've been through at least 5 of them. All made of cheap plastic that usually doesn't lock very well.

Default moftware should have one

But I'd wait another month until they get any design flaws settled.

Bought one for my 7100T, and they screwed it up

site is at:

I got this today from Blackberrystuff.com:

It looks like a plastic holster for the 7100g is in the works.

I bought the 7100t model from blackberrystuff.com (for $59.99, I might add) and it's a piece of junk. If you swivel it, your phone will fall out.

I wish RIM would make a high quality one like they have for their other models.

I got the one on the ebay link above (or similar anyway) aside from my initial reaction when I got it, it does work pretty well and holds the phone securely (hasn't fallen out yet). The downside is it is NOT a perfect fit. It does seem designed for the T model. But it is flexible enough where it will clip in the G. The edge of the clip is a little rough against the skin, so I suggest wearing on a belt, not just the waist band. But most ones that I've bought (other than one from Radio Shack for a samsung) are painful that way too.

I haven't yet broken it sitting down or getting out of the car as I have other clips for other phones (car is the same, phones and clips are different). It doesn't have the sleep function which I miss, but it has done a credible job of keeping me from scratching it up much.

I also got this one from them. It did not work with the magnet even though it seems like the magnet was there. Also, I had the same problem with the swivel...and finally, after 6 days of light use, the damn clip broke. $60.00 down the tube for something that never worked then just fell apart...I will never buy from them again.

Also, I pre-ordered in Dec when the site said they would ship in Feb. Did not get the thing until late April and they charged me in Dec.

Very disappointing overall.
