Exclamation 7100i Disasembly

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
My 7100i fell off the CRAPPY belt clip this weekend and fell into the lake.
I've taken the batt out but I need to take it apart so I can thoroughly dry it out.
I cant find out anywhere on how to get the thing apart. I removed the 6 screws but I still can't get it.
Does anyone have directions or pictures of this procedure?

thx,
Scott

Did you notice or read the Sticky Note at the top of the 7100 forum regarding disassembly photos of the 7100?
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ryfaq-com.html

Also... highly advised: Search this whole forum for the word "wet" and read thoroughly. Do NOT connect your battery or charger anytime soon, before you have read through this and tried the suggestions.

I used my 7100 for three more years after it got soaked, only because I followed the tips here.

Good luck with it... and get it a nice new holster if it survives.

Thanks for the quick reply.
But the sticky note covers the 7130G not the 7100I.
Does anyone have pics or directions on disasembly for this model.

thx

Other than the antenna removal, it should be the same.
