| You can wipe your BB of all your personal data by going to Options > Security > and click to WIPE HANDHELD. However, I don't think that will solve your problem (wiping the data from the BB). I am "betting" that the issue lies in your desktop Outlook file.
One does not need to be computer literate to look for the error log. Connect your BB, open Desktop Manager on your PC.
click Synchronize, click tab at top CONFIGURATION. Last button at bottom will say VIEW LOG. Click it.
Scroll through it until you see the error that is causing the glitch. If it is in the Address book, there is very likely some contact record in Outlook that has NO first name, last name or company name (the three fields used by Desktop Manager to sync and required in your BB Address Book. Find that record in Outlook, and fix it. |
