Recent Calls List
 

Hello....

My boss has a 7100 series blackberry that I have been recruted to try and figure out :razz: . Our most recent problem is in the recent calls list, it is now randomly changing names to numbers...like kathy has changed to a 4 in the recent calls list. And she is not number 4 in the speed dial list. Anyone else have this problem?

Aren't you the lucky one! Try this first, while the BB is powered, take battery out and reboot the device. Look at Phone, Options, General Options, Phone List View and see how that is set (which should not change a person's name from Kathy to 4). I wonder if there is there some odd setting in the address book for Kathy, or whoever. The phone list recent calls should reflect the name as formatted in the address book, or a simple phone number IF they are not listed in the address book.

I would check the address book and see if she is setup to have a special recognition. As JSanders said it will resolve the ID to what it is set to in the Address book. I would make sure to the one on the Sim card as well just in case. I always love getting recruited for those kinda things. =)
