hi

i have just upgraded from an 8700 to 8800

whats the quickest possible way to transfer my numbers from my address book?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Install the latest version (4.2, Service Pack 2) of Desktop Manager (get it from www.blackberry.com) and the Switch Device Wizard from there. Works great.

can only see service pack 1 though on the site

is there a link to service pack 2?

I think that was a typo. There's no SP2 for Desktop Manager 4.2 yet.

penguin is correct, 4.2, SP1 is the one. My typo.
