Default Cingular 8700c work in Europe or have to unlock?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello there... still getting used to the unlocking thing here...

If I buy a Cingular 8700c GSM 850 900 1800 1900 Quad band phone, would I still need to unlock it to work with the more prevalanet T-mobile coverage in Germany, or will Cingular already work there "out of the box?".... I'm getting conflicting advice. Please help.

You already have one thread open on using the 8700/8800 in countries outside of North America. You are NOT getting conflicting advice. Read the threads.
