Default 8700 as a modem on laptop for Airtel

Folks,
Need your help to configure my bb 8700 as modem for my laptop on airtel netwrok.

1. Yes I have red the FAQ

2. Have gone throught following steps
a. Started BB Desktop manager and connected my bb via usb cable
b. Go to standard modem and do query modem . I get following response
ATQ0V1E0 - OK
AT+GMM - BlackBerry IP Modem
AT+FCLASS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT#CLS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
ATI1 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem
ATI2 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem
ATI3 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem
ATI4 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem
ATI5 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem
ATI6 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem
ATI7 - Research in Motion / BlackBerry IP Modem

c. Added the following setting in modem Extra initiallizing settings
+cgdcont=1,"IP","airtelgprs.com","",0,0

d. Created a manual internet connection using standard modem. The dial number is *99***2# and user id and pw is blank

e. When I dial this connection I am getting the response "Error 619 : connection to remote computer was not establised , so the port was closed "

f. Does anyone has a clue
