Default 8700 vs 8100 Battery, whats the difference?

Please Login to Remove!

As the title states, whats the difference? I don't have any 8700 batteries but I put my 8100's battery in and it powers up fine. Anyone know what the difference is? All I can think of is the amount of power it holds, but I don't see why it should be different since it seems to be the same size as a 8700 battery anyway. Thanks in advance!

Got it , thanks, so me using the pearl battery can't cause any damage since they are both the same voltage 3.7v, unless the 8700's is different?

My guess is, the battery for 8100 won't last as long as the battery made for the 8700.

So an 8800 battery will fit an 8700? How man MaH is the 8800? I love the capacity but I have switched back to my factory battery just because the seidio is so large.

If anyone wants a seidio battery and cover pm me.
