When you first dial a number or any time during a call, press that key and it will activate your speakerphone, which in my opinion is pretty good compared to other phones i've owned. =)

You can't on an 8800. Other than going into "Profiles", that is.

From the home screen (at least on the O2 Today theme) you can "pearl" up to the icon below the signal level and change your profile to whatever you want.

Why would you think that pressing the Speakerphone button would activate the Vibrate profile?

I'm with you Dawgfan, never noticed that key. I think its quite a good improvement as well saves going through the menu to get the speaker on!
