Question Interference

Please Login to Remove!

New to the 8800 (ex palm and ppc user) and this forum. I am having a problem w/ radio interference when I am in the car. Whenever the arrows are moving or communicating w/ my BES and/or the ATT network, there is interference through my car's speakers. I am curious of two things ... 1) whether or not anyone here experiences the same issue and 2) if there is a way to remedy this i.e. change the channel or frequency.

Thanks in Advance

Common issue - it will do the same too close to phones too- don't know of any way around it. I had a user tell me that his Cingular 8700 used to set off store alarms when he walked through the detectors at the door...fun stuff!

It occurs with all GPRS and EDGE devices. Not much you can do but relocate the BlackBerry..

Could wrap it in aluminum foil that would shield it

I was afraid that was the case, but I didn't have this problem w/ my 8525 so I figured I would ask. Thanks to those that replied.
