Default Re - Push to Talk

I would be for something like this if a few more people got involved.

Sorry, I bought PTT for all of our devices when we left Nextel and went to Cingular. It was a joke on the Pearl. Sometimes when you hit the button it would not start and other times when you let go of the button it keps going and you had to pull the battery to get it to stop. I dumped it in only a week.

Many may like but it is a far cry from real PTT.

Interesting. I don't have those problems with mine. Moving from Nextel to Cingular (with or without the PTT) has been a blessing.

Don't get me wrong. My company used Nextel for years and never had a problem unless we got off "the beaten path". Stray too far from the highway or city and our Nextels did not have any bars. As my company grew our customers were not always as close to where Nextel had reception. We were getting alot of dropped calls but after changing to Cingular we never have problems with reception. We lost PTT but have great service.
