Auto shut of Wireless when low battery?!
 

Hi all, every time my 8703e gets low on battery, it auto shuts off the radio (phone/email/SMS/PIN) so it conserves battery for the PDA functions I guess...

Any way to disable this feature & make it behave like a regular wireless device, ie, keep the phone/radio function ON until the battery is completely dead?

Basically the 'auto shut off' is set so that once the battery hits the point that there is not enough power to run the radio it disables that feature however there is still enough to use the other features for a limited amount of time.

There is no way to change this.

What a pity; I prefer to control the hardware functions myself.

Sorry - only way around this is to maintain a minimal charge on the BB.

How often does your BB go dead?

Keep it charged and you won't have to worry about it.

Often enough that I asked if there was a way around it.
Not often enough that I need someone's first post to state the obvious.
