Default calender issue

Please Login to Remove!

hi ... i've tried the today and vodafone theme and in both of them the calender does not show the full day event in the home screen. I tried switching to Pocketday but Pocketday does'nt show the carrier's name in the home screen which is unacceptable since i travel and would like to be aware when i'm paying roaming charges.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Is this a theme issue or the OS issue?

Is it likely to be solved in the update to the OS expected with the 83xx?

thx

Anyone? I've even tried to contact my carrier Smartone Vodafone but even they dont have any answer to it.
Is there any other simple theme where the home screen would show the missing details?
thanks

My guess is that it is a theme issue. And as much as I'd like to see all day events, with room for only 2 lines of calendar there is too great a risk to not see timed events. I would prefer to be able to customize what appears on the Today screen.

ok - so - if its a theme issue, is there any other theme (something similar to Pocketday) where u can see a couple of calender entries - couple of unread emails / sms + couple of tasks?

maybe i'm not able to zero in on it ... i've gone thru this forum and others but i could not find any mention of it. Some of the themes are really very neat but dont serve my purpose since i prefer something simple but practical.

i would have opted for pocketday but it does'nt show whether i'm roaming ..and i land up paying roaming chgs.

any help - any feedback - any tips would be very sincerely appreciated.
