Default Keep sent items out of inbox but still sync to handheld - how?

Please Login to Remove!

Inbox and sent items appear in the same messages module inbox. I would prefer sent items be synced to the handhold, but do not want them in my inbox.

I would like to have to select the folder by hand by clicking the wheel and selecting view folder like I can with every other folder under my inbox. These should be a "sent items" folder there.

Can this be done?

In the Messages area, select Options. Then select General Options. You can turn on "Hide Sent Messages" in there. This should keep them from showing in the main messages display.

Don't you already have a thread with this exact same question?

Can you at least provide some details on your email setup? It's nearly impossible to provide relevant solutions without knowing whether you're on BIS or BES at least.

No I do not, that quesiton is about keeping an inbox of a seperate BES and BIS account seperated. This is about keeping the inbox and sent items of a single BES-sync exchange mailbox seperate.

Brittonx,

Thank you for this information, this works great. Is this configurable thorugh IT policy? I would think this would be best as the default option.

If I want to see my sent items, all I have to do now is go to view folder and select sent items!
