Were an IT company in the UK and my colleagues have left myself and another member of the support team to charge 180 BB 8700's ready for a rollout Wednesday AM.

We are having problems charging some of the devices - we get a battery symbol with a blue lightning bolt in the middle of the screen when we insert the battery and turn the devices on.

Please could someone let us know what the symbol means - our support staff have all gone home and left us to it. :(

It means the battery is out of charge... not sufficient power to run the device.
Just leave it plugged in to the charger and it will eventually power up.
Don't panic... just be patient

Sounds boring but arn't you glad that it takes a shorter time to charge a bb than a normal phone
