I'm with T-Mobile and am using a Treo 650, but with T-Mobile you have a lot more options(Internet wise)with a Blackberry. I can get a good deal on a 8700G, and want to know if anybody else had used both, and what's your opinion. I, personally really like Palm OS, but am open-minded. Thanks.

Had the Treo 600, and 650 with TMO. Went to the 7105t and never looked back. Hands down the BB platform has been the most reliable. You are correct, TMO has some of the best prices on data (BB etc) around. You will not be dissapointed. Had the 8703e with VZW, and know someone with the 8700g who loves it. Take it for a test drive, and enjoy the decrease in random restarts and resets.

Yes, many resets. One other question is the OS. I'm a Mac person, and want to know about any problems backing up stuff on the computer. Thanks.

As a mac user, I *think* you can use isync. But the reason I pop in is because I too just switched over to a bb8703e after using a treo650 for over 2 years. I liked the treo, and was really anti-blackberry for the longest time, but by far the BB smokes the treo. (I wish the spcs model had a camera :( )

I had 3 Treo 600s and a 650. All were junque. Switched tothe BB 8700c and love it. Bullet proof O/S. Email is excellent. Phone, PIM and web are adequate for my uses.

For MAC info, check out the MAC User's Corner in the section below this one. Pocket MAC is one of the sync tools. You can also do a search on MAC and get some good info.

I carried a Treo 600 for a year. Pure junk. It worked ok for a few weeks. Then the nightmares came. Random resets... lock-ups. The "Blazer Browser" left a lot to be desired. I purchased a BB 8703e from Sprint a couple of months ago, and have never looked back. This device smokes the Treo...
