Default No internet browser on 8700c???

Please Login to Remove!

After falling in love with my 8703e my fiance decided to pick up a BB for herself. Because she uses Cingular, she purchased an 8700c.

Now, everything seems to be working fine but there doesn't seem to be an internet browser on the phone. It's listed there under applications but there is no icon on the desktop/homescreen nor can I figure out how to place it on her desktop/homescreen.

Is it something really stupid that I am overlooking?

Any help would be very appreciated!

Does she have a Blackberry Data Plan on her account?
If not... she needs to get one.
Without a Blackberry Data Plan, all you have is phone and sms. No email, browser or internet access at all.

Hold down the Alt key and click the track wheel on any icon from the hompeage. Click show all and see if the icon is hidden. There are multilple other items that it could be but that is an easy start.

Try going to Options, Advanced, Host routing Table and click to Register Now. Pull your battery to reboot the BB. See if it shows up.
