Cool 8700g price reduced on T-Mobile website

i just noticed a price reduction from $249.00 to $199.00 on the TMO WS. Could this be the foreshadowing of an imminent addition to their BB lineup? (the 83xx series comes to mind....)

Actually, now I will say that the 8800 is imminent (two weeks = imminent to me). 8300 is not cooked yet. But the 8800 is ready and branded.

Talking

so what you're saying is, i should wait? arrrgh. what do you think the final retail price is going to be with a 2-year extension?

i am so confused..everyone was piping hot about the 83xx series now going to TMO. and now this 8800 for business user only rumor what is that supposed to mean??? what qualifies a TMO customer as a biz user? this is the company that peddles the SIDEKICK for god's sake...

what to do, what to do.

I am going to pass on the 8800 now that I can use 4.2 on my 8700g, but I really want to wait for the 8300/8320 to come out. I am going to jump on that device unless 4.2 on the 8700 really grows on me.

No one knows when the 8300 or 8820 or 8830 is going to come out. If you can wait (how long - no idea) then wait for the dream device. Which may not even be tested yet. I have no idea what any of these devices will cost.
