How do I remove the icon on my BB for my gmail account. I have already went to my carriers site and "unregistered" that email address.

It is bothersome. Please help.

Go to options, advanced options, applications and then scroll down to GMail, press the scroll wheel and select delete.

Do you mean the Gmail application or the Gmail Messages folder.

If you mean the Gmail Messages folder you can either hide it (alt + trackwheel) on the homescreen and select 'hide icon.' However since you removed the account from your BIS page (if that's what you mean) try deleting that service book (options > advanced options > service books) and select it and delete. Then do a battery pull and it should go away.

You can remove it by deleting the book that goes with it.
