Question Which OS for an Unlocked Blackberry?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a brand new Cingular Blackberry 8800 that was unlocked a couple days ago and is now working with my T-Mobile SIM.

My question is that once T-Mobile US releases the 8800, should I switch the OS on my device to the T-Mobile's version? Or should I stay with the Cingular version? Besides a bit of branding, is there really much difference between the Cingular & T-Mobile 8800 hardware / OS?

Thanks, Robert

The carrier branding of your OS doesn't matter. Load whichever one is best suited to your needs. If a particular OS has a bug fix or feature that you need that isn't in your current one then load the new one. Otherwise there's no reason to load a different one.

Configuration of your BB is handled by your service books (which are pushed to your BB by your carrier) -- not by the OS itself.
