Howdy all,
This morning while driving my wife to the hospital, my blackberry 8700 rang. I answered only to hear my neighbor say " please tell your wife to hang up her phone (she also has a 8700), back to neighbor, " I have been listening to you and your wife for the past 15 minutes". My wife got her 8700 out of her purse, and sure enough the phone had redialed our neighbor... I think the neighbor was upset cause it was 4:30 A.M. when the blackberry phoned her.
We both carry our Berries in leather cases, and best I can come up with is somehow by something shifting in her purse, the green "call" button got pushed and the 8700 redialed the last number she had called.
My question is... Can you bulk erase the numbers in the call liist, or do you have to clear them one by one?
Has this happened to anyone else ?

Doc Charlie

To Clear the Call Log: go to Messages > View Folder > Phone Call Logs > Select that folder, Scroll to TOP at the latest date, Click to DELETE PRIOR.

She can also keyboard lock her phone upon putting it the holster by: Options > Security Settings > General Settings > LOCK UPON HOLSTERING = YES.

Or... anytime, tapping the "K" key from the Home screen... IF you have "Dial from Home Screen" set to NO (see Phone > Options > General Options > Dial from Home Screen..

Hi, This has happened to me several times. The only way I have found to stop this is to use the keyboard lock system. That helps if a button is pushed you must unlock the keypad first. Hope this helps
