Angry Can't Install Mail - Going Suicidal

Please Login to Remove!

I just got from Verizon an 8703e. I had previously had an 8700 from T-mobile. I disabled the mail service on the old 8700.

I have attempted to install email on the new 8703e.

--It asks me for my Login and Password, which I provide. I have done this many times so I am quite sure it is correct. it responds with "Please check your information and try again." And this I have tried many times with the same result.

--So I return to logon, and it has an option "Forgot your password?". It asks me to enter my userID, which I do and submit. It then says, "Your password has been successfully sent to your Blackberry." (It has not been sent and does not show up in my email. And then when I click OK it says "Login Failed. Invalid user ID or Password.

--So then I go and try to create a new account. Using the same UserID and password. And it says nothing doing, this account already exists.

So here I sit. Smoke is coming out of my ears. I think I am going to take one of the little red pills (oh, wait, I don't have any little red pills - a bit of scotch will have to do it).

Help will be gratefully received. I would be happy to engage a telephone consultant ($$) who could lead me out of this problem.

Have you set up an account with your new carrier?
You must set up a verizon blackberry BIS account on their BB page.
Once you do, then you can send the service books for email and web to your browser.

Default Verizon Won't Recognize My Pin

I tried to log into Verizon to register via my PIN number, and the BB site (via Verizon) said it didn't recognize my PIN, which I took from the box the phone came in.

The frustration mounts............

go into your options and then status and input the PIN from there...

just as a reminder...if it has a #1 its not an L...its a HEX formatted number so it only goes A-F and 0-9

fyi, i'm not saying your dumb or anything, just reminding incase you were hitting L instead of 1...

also maybe try closing your browser and reopening it. Otherwise call Verizon Tech..

You login password might come as a text message so check there.

I assume you have a Verizon BB dataplan and it is properly provisioned?

Make sure you call Verizon before the data guys go home for the weekend. Other wise it will be Monday before anything happens.
