Has anyone ever received this message?

Does anyone know why Berry Pix would need to access phone logs?

It's because Berry Pix likes to play nice on your BlackBerry and "step out of the way - stop any slideshow etc." when you get a phone call. It's unfortunate it looks like a phone log access - the actual (and ONLY) access that Berry Pix makes to your "phone" looks like this:

if(net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.Phone.getActiveCal l becomes active)
then stop any slideshow and/or screensaver and then yield to background.

Hope this helps.

Lots of apps do this. Many people think that these apps are gathering info and sending back to "the big guy." It's simply not the case. Google's apps do it and I've seen people on here getting rid of Google Maps because they think Google is extracting their phone data. It's simply not the case. Just let it access and soldier on!
