Default Modem and desktop back-up issue

Please Login to Remove!

Yesterday I downloaded the dimension zen theme and then two more themes from pinstack as well as two wallpapers. I got the zen theme working great, as well as the wallpapers, when I tried to add the two themes from pinstack via the desktop manager, it only allowed to download one and told me there are no more applications available to upload, so I uploaded the one that I could, later on I tried to reconnect to the desktop and it did but would not allow me to do a back up, the button to do so were greyed out, then I tried to tether my BB and that too did not happen. I had to pull the battery out and then it would work momentarily, then shortly after would continue to not allow me to back up nor tether as a modem. So, i deleted everying except the zen, and problem still persisted. I removed that and it now seems ok, I am going to try and do another back up as well as tether my BB 8703e. Is this a normal occurance that themes can disable the ability to tether as modem and back the phone up on your desktop? Or was it just a bad install? I really liked the zen theme and would like to reload it but not at the expense of it disabling features on my phone.

anybody? My phone works fine but I notice it has small little quirks, like when I swtich themes (preloaded ones) that when it reverts back to the option menu, the themes isn't highlighted like it used to be, it highlights "applications" instead.
