Default JVM 544 error - PLEASE HELP

Please Login to Remove!

PLEASE help - I just tried installing the themes on my 7100 from the thread here, and immediately after they were uploaded, my phone crashed. All I get is a rotating hourglass for about a minute, then the message "JVM 544 error - RESET". I click the trackwheel, the screen goes black, then the rotating hour glass comes back again. I've removed the battery, which doesn't seem to help at all either. All I get is the rotating hour glass. Did I fry my phone somehow?! It's on an endless loop!

Suggestions please.

Here's the list of JVM errors from RIM - http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgec...56615&vernum=0 - looks like 544 is not on it.

I would get ahold of a copy of Javaloader, and wipe out your BB. Then reload the OS.

Hi, I'm also getting JVM error after trying to load chinese application on 7100g. Seems like it is not supported on this model of blackberry.

How do I use JavaLoader to reload the OS? Pls help.

Default JVM error 544

I just went through this with attempting to load new themes on my 7100g. Everyone at work were able to load these without a problem. For some reason my shut down. I have spent 2 hrs with CBWireless and Rim and here is the fix: **hopefully you have a backup of data for your BB**

Application loader, next, next, next, advanced, erase all currently installed, next.

This will erase everything from your bb. You must now download a new Operating System from your carrier. Mine was simple to find. Then do a soft reset- remove battery for 30 seconds then reinsert. Application loader and install new OS. It will take a few minutes to load on your BB. Be patient and you will be fine.

Retry application loader and themes if you dare, I did and this time it worked!?! Go figure. Hope this helps!
