Default Dust Behind Screen

Anyone else finding the dust that accumulates behind the screen very annoying? Any tips on how to get rid of it? I have heard using a can of Air helps, but I'm not sure where on the device I should try it. Any suggestions?

Not too many reporting dust behind the 8800 screen. Thye first 8700 units were horrible. How are you carrying your 8800?

A blower is not going to do much, you will need to take the device apart.

Yep, I've got a couple of particles behind the screen. I carry mine in my back pocket.

There aren't enough of them to make me to annoyed yet but I've definitely noticed. Unlike the 8700, I don't know how the dust gets in though. Hmmm...

Back pocket? that's brave.

I also experienced dust on previous 8700's. I only have a few dead pixels on my 8800, which drives me nuts!

Dead pixels - that can be turned in as a warranty issue right?

Well, I have returned a few so far because of dead pixels. I notice them more now because I know what to look for. I have given up as most of the ones I have returned for have 1 or more dead pixels. I googled dead pixels to learn more about them and interesting to find that its very common with these kind of screens. To answer your question, yes it can be returned. I use the "bliss" background image as it makes it tougher to spot the dead pixels. For most people this is nothing, but I personally hate defects like this.
